Tax accountant is responsible for applying an in-depth knowledge of tax and management services to provide solid advice on the tax impact of various corporate strategies and to help clients’ experience with the firm to become the “Most Valued Advisor”.
Responsibilities
- Manages own workflow daily, ensuring that deadlines are met, and work is completed accurately as assigned
- Coordinate, review, and complete tax projects in a timely manner, assuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Conduct technical research
- Perform analysis and resolve all notices and issues that client encounters regarding tax returns
- Assist Staff Accountants/Managers/Partners with any other assigned project
Education and Experience
- Certified Public Accountant, Enrolled Agent or
- 5 or more years of related experience/training

Overview
Senior Accountant is responsible for organizing and managing client assignments and projects through completion, as well as coaching, advising, and directing team members in meeting clients and self-development expectations.
Staff Accountant is responsible for learning and applying their technical skills and working as part of a team carrying out tasks under close coaching and supervision.
Responsibilities
- Manage own workflow daily, ensuring that deadlines are met, and work is completed accurately as assigned
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions
- Performs statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates, significant changes and write narrative reports explaining findings
- Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital. Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position
- Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions
- Devise effective tax strategies to defer or eliminate tax payments and recommend strategies to improve profits and align with business goals
- Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures. Reviews, investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports. Installs and modifies documents and coordinates implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures
- Conducts studies and submits recommendations for improving the organization’s accounting operation
- Collects appropriate data and prepares federal state and local tax reports and tax returns for individuals and corporations in a timely manner
- Research, study and interpret tax law
- Research and correct process errors that caused incorrect tax filings
- Engage regularly with clients and maintaining strong relationships
- Assist Partners/Managers with any other projects or tasks
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a related field
- Two or more years related experience and/or training

Overview
Administrative Assistant is responsible for maintaining complex schedules and efficiently managing support and positive interactions to clients and staff while assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner and ability to be a master multi-tasker.
Responsibilities
- Manage own workflow daily, ensuring that deadlines are met, and work is completed accurately as assigned
- Assist in training team members and new hires on office procedures
- Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment and office appearance
- Maintain office supplies by checking inventory and order items
- Respond to questions and requests for information
- Answer incoming calls and assume other administrative duties when needed
- Provide real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts
- Screening calls and routing callers to the appropriate party
- Greet and assist visitors
- Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, email, mail, and in-person
- Anticipate the needs of others to ensure their seamless and positive experience
- Print and assemble tax returns and financial statements

Education and Experience
- Associate’s Degree in related field or High School diploma or equivalent with 2 or more years of proven administrative or assistant experience
